About Sharon.
The story behind the speaker, the woman behind the book, and the faith that holds it all together.
Standing on God’s promise.
Thirty-five years have passed since my story began, and God has said, “It’s time.” I believe He is leading me to share my story by putting pen to paper — providing a resource the world wants and needs to hear.
I have walked through much since October 1989, but my Heavenly Father has been with me every step of the way. He has led me to this time to help people by sharing the message that He is faithful to bestow a crown of beauty in place of ashes, as promised in Isaiah 61:3:
To all who mourn…He will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the Lord has planted for His own glory.Isaiah 61:3
Roots, work, and what comes next.
i.Roots
A native Texan whose blood runs maroon — two degrees from Texas A&M University. A career spanning pharmaceutical sales to co-owning a private equity firm. Deeply rooted in agriculture, currently operating a small ranch in Parker County, Texas. Raised in small-town America, where community members lived by the tenets of their faith — a foundation Sharon does not take lightly.
ii.Off the Page
Cutting horse competitions across the country. Hunting throughout the United States and abroad. Travel and snow skiing. The interests of someone who has lived broadly — and who brings every one of those rooms, ranches, and arenas with her when she steps up to a microphone.
“If I can help one person, then the sharing of my story has fulfilled a higher purpose.”
